We will also in the future have some first class DACS to enable you to get the best possible sounds from your computer, or just to upgrade your CD player.
Welcome to the future. Welcome to our world. The MCD series of integrated amplifiers, is powered by MCD Class D technology. This high sampling frequency enable you to reproduce the entire audio bandwidth with true high fidelity, without compromising phase performance.
All MCD amplifiers exhibit extremely low THD and tremendous peak currents. Our Reference and future Statement products use our highly advanced MHz Technology. All products are designed in house by Huygens Audio, all our amplifiers are hand made by Huygens Audio.
MHz power4 Statement

Huygens Audio made some important changes to the statement range, to design a very high performance piece of audio equipment special attention needs to be paid to all areas of the amplifiers performance and design criteria. One area that needed special attention was the feet we chose to use. We needed to find feet that would absorb vibrations effectively, the reason for this is that a very high powered amplifier needs to prevent the detrimental effects of low frequency vibrations re-entering the amplifier from the room.

The new Huygens Audio MHz power4 comes in two different finishes to suit different customers needs, Huygens amplifiers come in two very attractive finishes, you can chose between the stunning pearl Silver or the profound Black.

Introducing MHz power
MHz power-4 is one member of the Huygens Audio MHz power class-D amplifier series. It is powered by our advanced MHz power technology, which runs at a 1 MHz sample rate with very low distortion and very high power output. It is the first class-D technology that can amplify any signal within the frequency range from DC to 150 KHz with very low phase shift and distortion. All protection and soft start functions are built-in to make installation simple.

The future has arrived with the new Huygens Audio MCD 1801, what are you waiting for? Give us a call today.

Let's take a look around the rear of the new Hygens Audio MCD1801, we have provided balanced and unbalanced inputs, plus interchangeable voltages, these little beauties really offer so much value at such affordable's prices, owning one is such a pleasure.

Huygens Audio use the MCD-255 Class D module designed by John Fumac of Huygens Audio, this module is state of the art when it comes to Class D designs, it's this module which puts Huygens Audio at the front of the pack and leaders in Class D amplifier design. Huygens Audio are one of a very few that design all our own amplifiers, it's this knowledge that reassures you that you getting a truly state of the art amplifier in Class D design
Huygens Audio mono blocks are state of the art when it comes to class D amplifiers, simply put they have no peers, John Fumac spent many hours burning the midnight oil to achieve the kind of sonic performance only Huygens Audio amplifiers are capable of achieving, Huygens Audio made them simply world class sounding at price points that are so refreshing when it comes to High End audio, a new chapter has begun, and it begins with the name of Huygens Audio.
These amplifier features the following:
Very high power, high frequency switching at 1mhz, DC couple, 400w, low THD, high bandwidth, designed for whiffing audio, true balanced input, world wide voltage switching.
We challenge you to find a better sounding Class D amplifier than the Huygens Audio MHz range of products, we feel we offer a level of performance unheard at this price point before, the MHz amplifiers are statement products in Class D amplifiers, you owe it to yourself to give these amplifiers a listen where sonic bliss awaits you.

What is MCD from Huygens Audio?
MCD stands for “MHz Class-D”, A new amplifier technology from John.Fu(Fumac) and Zhaolian.Fu of Huygens Audio. This New Class D amplifier technology runs a very high sampling rate Frequency (from around 700KHz2.6Mhz, at a fixed frequency). This technology enables us to produce amplifiers of high power(up to 800w), Low THD, Low phase-shift, and a Class A like sound all from a compact, cool running, environmentally friendly design, perfect for a HiFi, AV system, active speaker or professional amplifier.
MCD amplifiers feature two feedback paths, one to produce the High Frequency oscillation frequency, the other for AF error feedback, this AF feedback includes the output filter to ensure load independent performance. By combining these two loops, you can create a system with both outstanding technical and subjective performance.

Previous Class D technology ran below 100KHz. This is not quick enough for full-range (10Hz20KHz) audio performance, and can only be consider suitable for subwoofer (10Hz to 250Hz) applications.
More recently Class D designers have been able to increase the switching frequency of their designs to 200k250k. These type of Class D amplifiers can produce close to full range audio (about 10hz 18KHz). Typically these designs had great bass but poor treble. Still these amplifiers have found homes in AV systems, sub woofers, and Mid Fi applications.
Bringing us up to date, there are some very good designs that now run at between 350¨C400KHz. These are the first designs that can reproduce the accepted “full bandwidth”
High Frequency, Low Phase-shift, Low EMI
MCD runs at speeds of between 700KHz to 2.6MHz (up to 6 times faster then the current state of the art), It has an extended audio bandwidth from below 1Hz to beyond 60KHz with a simple filter (80KHz Low Pass Filter), as the high switching speed makes this possible.
The MCD generates lower EMI, has less phase shift and has a greater bandwidth than other D Class amplifiers. With a AF error feedback, the phase shift can be zero.

When you have the MCD-255 at the heart of your amplifier you can be assured you are getting the best, hours and hours of research went into the design of these modules to offer you the end user state of the art whiffing performance, it is our goal to continue to strive to push the sonic boundaries in Class-D amplification. Huygens Audio do not authorize any modifications to our amplifiers, any modifications will lose the warranty, by attempting to modify any Huygens Audio amplifier you will also lose any CE approval marking, do so at your own risk.
